Art & Science Integration

Our art and science teams collaborated to create STEAMscape, an exciting integrated field trip where students explored the states of matter — solids, liquids, and gases — through the lens of art. During the experience, students combined creativity and curiosity as they observed scientific phenomena and then represented their discoveries using a variety of art materials and techniques.

This hands-on approach encouraged students to make connections between science and art, deepening their understanding of how both disciplines involve experimentation, observation, and imagination. STEAMscape was a wonderful example of how collaboration between subjects can spark innovation and inspire students to see the world in new ways.
