Collaborative Winter Decorations!

Our 2nd grade artists worked together to create a magical Winter Village to decorate for the upcoming winter music concert! Students began by sketching their ideas and planning out the layout of their village. They then used tempera paint to bring their chilly winter scenes to life, complete with snowy rooftops, frosty trees, and cozy houses glowing with color.

This project was all about collaboration. Each student contributed their own creative touch while working together to make sure every piece fit into the larger scene. Collaborative projects like this teach students the importance of teamwork, communication, and shared creativity, essential skills that help them grow not just as artists, but as caring members of their classroom community.
